概説ハーブの一種
[種子、オイル]ツンとする刺激、加温性のハーブ。
種子をLepidium sativumの種子と一緒に発芽させたものがマスタード・クレスだが、マスタードの方が成長が早いので、3日ほど後から種を蒔く。		Summarya herb

食用潰した種子は肉料理に付け合わせるマスタードの主成分である。
丸ごと種子はピクルスに欠かせない。
